Abstract Fusion protein of Newcastle
disease virus is a glycoprotein with antigenicity. The cDNA of fusion gene of
NDV strain F48E8 was cloned by RT-PCR,and the sequence of F48E8 was compared
with other two virulent strains,Australia-victoria and Italien. Results show
that the sequences of N-terminus are very similar, and cysteine residues and the
potential glycosylation sites are relatively conserved. However, there are a few
differences in the region of signal peptides.
